La Face
Five bedrooms, all en-suite, so everyone in the group has a room and bathroom of their own. Below the living floor, a private spa and pool to come back to at the end of a day on the slopes.
Warm up by the fire with the peaks in view
La Face is finished in stone and wood, with big windows on both sides that keep the rooms light through the day. The dining room is the largest of them, opening straight onto the peaks, the view there with dinner. At one end of the main room, a stone fireplace to gather round once the snow sets in.
Description
The main room runs the full width of the house, a mezzanine above it, a quieter spot to read or sit a little apart without leaving the group behind. The five bedrooms are set away from it. Some of the group can turn in early while the rest stay up.
Downstairs, the spa is yours alone: an indoor pool, a hammam and a jet pool, with room for the whole group at once. Warm up after the slopes without going outside or booking a slot. Your skis are fitted in the chalet, and the ski locker by the door has boot warmers, the first run starting on the snow rather than in a shop queue. There's a garage for the cars and a safe for passports and documents.
The Bellevarde Olympic slope starts at the foot of the chalet, the Olympic Face on its far side and 300 kilometres of the Espace Killy running through to Tignes. The village centre is a few minutes on foot, close enough for dinner out and quiet enough to come home to. How much is taken care of is up to you: the Premium package brings a concierge, a butler who cooks breakfast and a driver around the village, while Prestige adds a private chef for five evenings and keeps the driver on later. Winter stays run Sunday to Sunday from late November to early May, and the chalet opens again in July and August.
