Val d’Isère’s season stretches from late November to early May — one of the longest and most reliable in the Alps. December brings new snow and the energy of a new season, followed by the busy Christmas and New Year weeks. January and early February are quieter, with great conditions and flexibility on length of stay. March offers longer days and excellent snow, while April rewards those who come late: fewer crowds, amazing snow and some of the best skiing of the season.
