Can Ross
A track through olive and fruit trees, a cottage with no immediate neighbours, and more to do on the property than most families manage in a week. Three bedrooms, a pool and a garden built for children, in the quieter north of the island.
A cottage in the north through olive and fruit trees
The track winds between fields of olive and fruit trees before the cottage comes into view, sitting on open land with nothing immediately around it. Three bedrooms, a garden that gives children room to genuinely disappear into it, and a pool that can be fenced off on request for younger ones. This is the quiet north of the island: unhurried, green and a different world from the beach clubs of the south, with San Miguel four kilometres away and the famous hippy market beach of Benirras seven.

Description
Three bedrooms and two bathrooms fit a family or a small group without anyone feeling crowded. The main bedroom has a king-size boxspring, the second a double made from two 90cm mattresses that work together or apart, and the third two single beds. The den is genuinely spacious, a room worth spending time in rather than passing through. Out front, a covered terrace runs the length of the house with a lounge sofa and a dining table with benches long enough for everyone to sit down together.
The outdoor kitchen is the natural place to start the evening, with the pool and its two large lounge beds and sun loungers right alongside it. Table tennis, boules, badminton, a playhouse and a full collection of indoor and outdoor toys mean children find their own entertainment and stick to it. The pool can be fenced on request, which takes one worry off the list for parents of younger children. The air conditioning function throughout the villa, and counts with added features such as a safe in the house and a washing machine.
Can Sulayetas, a traditional Spanish restaurant that runs through the day and into the night, is a short walk from the gate. San Miguel beach is four kilometres, Benirras seven. Santa Gertrudis, with proper shops, restaurants and bars, is eight. Ibiza Town is eighteen. The north of the island has a pace of its own, unhurried in a way the south rarely manages, and Can Rosa sits right in the middle of it.
