Le Cahokia is a big family chalet in Le Crêt, a quiet hamlet of Val d'Isère, with a heated indoor pool and its own hammam. Five bedrooms, four doubles and a children's bunk room, each en-suite. A shuttle runs to the slopes, and the centre is a short walk.

Description
Deep sofas and a long dining table fill the living space under the high ceiling, the valley through the windows. The four doubles sit on the ground floor, most able to take a king or twins, one of them the master. The children's bunk room is on the floor below, sleeping five.
The kitchen is contemporary and open to the dining room, ceramic hobs and a full run of appliances with a Nespresso machine. A ski room with boot warmers holds the kit, skis fitted there rather than carried to a shop. There is a parking space at the chalet. The pool and hammam are the place to come back to at the end of the day.
Le Crêt is a quiet corner of Val d'Isère, and Cahokia keeps to itself there. A shuttle runs to the slopes in a few minutes, to the Solaise and Olympique lifts and the 300 kilometres of the Espace Killy. The centre of the village is a ten to fifteen minute walk, or a short hop by shuttle. Winter stays run Sunday to Sunday, late November to early May, open again in July and August.
