Le Fusée is a bright apartment, its bay windows wrapping the living room with the mountains on one side. It sits in La Daille, ski-in and ski-out, the slopes running straight off the residence. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, wood-lined and warm.
Description
An orange velvet sofa and a red rug warm the living room, wood on the walls, windows on one side. The kitchen is dark and modern with a counter and stools, open to the dining table. The bedrooms are doubles, most set as a king or twins on request.
The kitchen is fully equipped, ceramic hobs and a Nespresso machine, with raclette and fondue kit for the evenings in. A ski locker and boot warmers sit by the door, and skis are fitted at the apartment rather than in a shop queue. There is a lift. A garage takes the car.
From the residence you are straight onto the 300 kilometres of the Espace Killy, with the centre of Val d'Isère a few minutes down. Le Fusée comes on the Liberté package: a private concierge to organise the stay, a welcome basket, beds made, and ski equipment fitted at the apartment. Breakfasts and dinners cooked by the chefs can be added. Winter runs Sunday to Sunday, late November to early May, open again in July and August.
