To the left of the entrance hall, a double bedroom with a large bed. Further along, a twin and an independent bathroom. The living and dining area is comfortable and well set up, the kitchen alongside. A tiled staircase leads up to two more bedrooms, a double and a twin, with an independent shower room, and one of them has a small terrace looking out across the hillside. A few more stairs reach the top floor, where a double bedroom with floor-to-ceiling windows on two aspects, heat-reflective curtains, its own bathroom and a private terrace looks toward Ibiza Town and the sea. Every bedroom is air conditioned, with a safe and alarm in the house.

Up here too is a second sitting room with windows on two sides, and the view from this level makes you understand why the villa has the name it does. The triangular pool sits on the hillside terrace below, with a covered dining area and a brick-built barbecue alongside.

Playa d'en Bossa is ten minutes by car, Ibiza Town fifteen. A supermarket and the nearest bar are eight minutes away. San Antonio is twenty. You need a car here, and nothing about that feels like a compromise once you've seen what the isolation is in exchange for.
