Babylon Beach: a farm-fed beach bar near Santa Eulalia

Oct 9, 2026Author: One of a Kind Travel1 min

A bohemian beach bar outside Santa Eulalia with a floating pontoon, a playground and its own farm behind it.

Babylon Beach sits on the sand just outside Santa Eulalia on the road towards Es Canar. It is a beach bar and restaurant rather than a day club, and the difference is audible: there is music, and you can hold a conversation over it.

Most of the menu comes from the owners' own farm, Ca'n Pere Mussona, inland.

What is there

Deckchairs on the sand, a floating pontoon moored offshore to swim out to, kayaks for hire, and an eco-adventure playground for children behind the tables. Yoga and meditation sessions run through the season.

That combination is unusual. It is one of the few places on the island that works for a family in the morning and a couple in the evening without changing character.

When it is open

Seasonal, opening in April. Sources disagree on the days and hours between a daily schedule and a Wednesday-to-Sunday one, so our team will confirm for the week you are here rather than send you down a sandy road on a guess.

Good to know

It is on the sand, so arrive dressed for that.

The pontoon is the thing children remember.

It is ten minutes from town, and walkable along the coast path if you want the walk.
