The club season runs from late April to the middle of October, and outside those months almost every venue on this page is shut. In 2026 Es Paradis opened first, on 4 April, and the big four opened over the last weekend of April, with Amnesia following on 9 May. The closing parties run from the end of September to 12 October.
That calendar matters more than the choice of venue, because a week in early May and a week in early October are both good club weeks, while a week in March is not one at all. We have set out what each of the main rooms is for, so you can match the night to the people you are travelling with.
The big rooms
UNVRS is the newest and the largest. It stands on the site of Privilege, which lost its licence in 2019, and it opened on 30 May 2025 billed as a hyperclub. The building was rebuilt rather than replaced, and Privilege's dome still stands over it. It comes from the same company as Ushuaïa and Hï, so the production is the scale you would expect.
Amnesia turned fifty in 2026. It has two rooms, one of them the dark, low Club Room that made its name, and it remains the venue most people mean when they talk about the island's dance history.
Hï Ibiza sits on the main road at Playa d'en Bossa, on the site of the old Space, and opened in 2017. It is the most modern room on the island and the one built around its sound system.
Pacha is the oldest brand of the four and the one nearest Ibiza Town, which makes it the easiest to leave at four in the morning. It is also the least rigid about what you are there for.
Ushuaïa is the outlier: an open-air venue at a hotel, running in daylight rather than after dark, which is why it has a dress code the others do not.
The ones people go back to

DC-10 is out by the airport at the edge of Las Salinas, planes come in low over the terrace, and it has the reputation for the best music on the island. Circoloco on a Monday is the long-running party and traditionally holds the last night of the season.
Es Paradis in San Antonio has been running since the 1970s and is the prettiest room on the island, built around a pyramid and a sunken floor that gets flooded for its water parties.
Eden, across the street, is the other San Antonio institution and the more straightforwardly British of the two.
Ibiza Rocks is a hotel with a pool and a stage rather than a club, and it programmes live acts and daytime pool parties rather than residencies.
Smaller rooms and the late dinner
Lío sits on the harbour opposite the old town and works as a restaurant, a cabaret and a club in that order through the evening. Club Chinois took over the HEART site in town and runs a similar dinner-into-night shape.
Destino belongs to the Pacha group and holds its parties outdoors, in the grounds of its hotel on the headland above Talamanca, looking back at the old town. The volume is aimed at people who want to talk as well as dance.
Akasha opened in 2021 at Las Dalias in San Carles and is the one that grew out of the hippy market rather than the club scene. The Underground at San Rafael is the small, unglamorous room that regulars name when you ask them where they go.
Quick answers
When does the Ibiza club season run? Late April to mid-October. In 2026 the openings clustered around the last weekend of April, Amnesia opened on 9 May, and the closings ran from 28 September to 12 October.
Which club has the best music? DC-10 has that reputation, and Circoloco on a Monday is the reason.
Which is the biggest? UNVRS, on the old Privilege site.
Is there a dress code? Most rooms are relaxed about it. Ushuaïa is the one with published rules, since it runs in daylight by a pool.
Can you go clubbing outside the summer? Not really. A handful of one-off nights happen around Easter and at New Year, but the season proper is the five and a half months above.
Where should you stay for a club week? Playa d'en Bossa puts you next to Hï and Ushuaïa, San Antonio covers Es Paradis and Eden, and anywhere central is twenty to thirty minutes from all of them.
Planning the nights around the days
One club night in a week is usually enough, and two is plenty, because the rooms open late and the daytime options are better than most people expect. Pairing a late night with a slow afternoon at one of the beach clubs is the shape most of our guests settle into.
If you are building a week around particular nights, our advisors follow the line-ups through the season and will tell you which weeks are worth moving your dates for.
