Rita's Cantina: open all day, all year, in San Antonio

Oct 9, 2026Author: One of a Kind Travel2 min

On the San Antonio marina since 1995, open from breakfast until late, and open every day of the year.

Rita's Cantina sits at the end of the marina promenade in San Antonio and has been there since 1995. It opens for breakfast and closes around one in the morning, every day, all year, which on Ibiza is rarer than it sounds.

Most of San Antonio runs on the season and shuts in October, and this does not, which is most of the case for it.

What it serves

A club sandwich it is known for, crepes, smoothies and proper breakfasts, alongside a run of Thai and Indonesian dishes including nasi goreng. The combination makes no particular sense and has worked for three decades.

Cocktails in the evening, and the terrace faces the marina.

When to go

Breakfast is the best of it. The marina is quiet in the morning, the light is on this side of the bay, and it is the only serious breakfast at that end of town.

Out of season it becomes a different thing again: one of the few places in San Antonio still open in January, and busy with people who live here.

Good to know

No booking culture. Walk in.

It is at the marina end, not on the Sunset Strip, so the evening is calm rather than loud.

Listings disagree on the exact address. It is at the end of the promenade; our team can point you at the door.
