Apartment le Bestview Val d'Isere

The living room is the whole apartment's centre, the stone fireplace on one wall with bay windows to each side of it. Light comes in from both sides, and each opens onto the balcony. A dining table sits at one end, the kitchen with its island off to the side. The five bedrooms each have a dressing room and their own bathroom, most set as a king or twins.

There is a hammam for the end of the day. The kitchen is modern, an island at its centre, ceramic hobs and a full run of appliances with a Nespresso machine. A ski room with a locker and boot warmers holds the kit, skis fitted there rather than in a queue at a shop. Covered parking and a garage keep the cars out of the weather. A lift runs up to the apartment.

Val d'Isère is right there below, the shops and restaurants a short way down, with 300 kilometres of the Espace Killy from the door. Le Best View comes on the Comfort package: a private concierge, a welcome basket, beds made and firewood in, and ski equipment fitted at the apartment. Breakfasts and dinners cooked by the chefs can be added. Winter stays run Sunday to Sunday, late November to early May, open again in July and August.
