Casa Piedra: a charcoal grill in a lemon grove

Oct 9, 2026Author: One of a Kind Travel2 min

A charcoal grill in a garden of citrus trees on the Cala Llonga road, open all year.

Casa Piedra sits on the Cala Llonga road inland from Santa Eulalia, in a garden of lemon and orange trees with a centuries-old olive tree in the middle of it. Everything comes off a charcoal grill, and the cooking borrows from Japan and Vietnam as readily as from the Mediterranean.

It is not a beach restaurant despite the address. You drive to it, you sit under the trees, and there is nothing else around.

The food

Grilled, mostly. Fish, meat and vegetables over coals, with Asian seasoning doing the work that butter and cream would do elsewhere. The menu is short and changes.

It is the kind of cooking that suits the setting: unhurried, not fussy, and better at dusk.

When it is open

Open all year, which is worth knowing for the east coast in winter. Closed on Tuesdays.

Dinner is the main service, from around seven. Some listings show a lunch sitting as well and the restaurant's own hours do not, so lunch is worth confirming before you drive out.

Good to know

Book online or through our team. It is small and it fills.

There is no walk-up trade. No beach, no village, no passing traffic.

The garden is the room. In cooler months ask what is covered.
