Club Chinois is at Marina Botafoch, across the water from Ibiza Town. It holds about a thousand people, making it the smallest of the island's main rooms by a wide margin, and it is decorated as a 1920s Shanghai supper club in lacquer and silk.
The site was HEART until 2022, the Adria brothers' venue, and it was converted rather than rebuilt.
The programme
For 2026 it carries the strongest weekly line-up it has had. Defected moved its Ibiza residency here for the first time, running Thursdays across twenty-three weeks. Claptone's Masquerade is on Saturdays, Bedouin's SAGA on Sundays, Major League DJz on Fridays and La Troya on Mondays.
Anyone working from copy written before this season will expect Defected somewhere else.
What it is like
The size is the character. You are close to the booth and to everyone else, and the sound does not have to fight a shed. Anyone put off by the scale of the bigger clubs should start here.
Good to know
It is at the marina, ten minutes from the old town by road and unrelated to Pacha despite being a walk away from it.
It is small, so the popular nights sell out rather than absorbing a crowd.
Doors are late, like everywhere here.
