The eco market in San Jose sets up along Carrer de Pere Escanellas, the street in front of the town hall beside the church, on Saturday mornings from half past nine until half past one. It runs from April to the end of October, and 2026 was its tenth season.
It is worth being clear about what it is. The 2026 opening had 53 stalls, of which three were farmers, so this is an island crafts market with some organic produce rather than a farmers' market with crafts attached.
What is on the stalls
Woven shawls and hand-knitted socks, wicker baskets, ceramics and silver jewellery, most of it made on the island by the people selling it. The produce stalls carry organic fruit and vegetables from local growers.
There are workshops and activities for children through the season, which makes it an easier hour with a family than most markets on the island.
The new night market

Since May 2026 there has also been a night market on the first Friday of each month, from six until ten in the evening, on the same street. It is the more atmospheric of the two and the village square fills up around it.
Getting there and combining it
San Jose village sits inland in the south-west, about twenty minutes from Ibiza Town and ten from the coast at Cala Vadella. There is parking in and around the village, and the market is a few minutes on foot from any of it.
Racó Verd is opposite the church and is the obvious stop afterwards. The south-west coves are fifteen minutes down the road.
The other producers' market
For fruit and vegetables, oil, honey and wine rather than crafts, Forada at Buscastell is the one to drive to. It runs every Saturday all year from ten until about three, on the esplanade by Can Tixedó on the Santa Agnes road, and it serves a vegan paella around one o'clock.
