17th-Century Villa on Olive Oil Estate
A 17th-century villa set within one of Lucca's most respected extra virgin olive oil estates, this is the kind of place that earns its reputation through what it quietly offers: uninterrupted panoramic views over the Tuscan hills, thick stone walls that keep the heat at bay, and a sense of seclusion that feels genuine rather than staged. The estate lies just 12 km from the historic centre of Lucca, close enough for day trips yet removed enough to feel like a proper retreat.

Description
The ground floor centres around a large living room with fireplace that opens onto the garden, alongside a TV room, a smaller sitting room (also with fireplace), a well-equipped kitchen and a dining room. Upstairs, bedrooms are spread across different wings of the house, each reached by separate staircases, which gives everyone a degree of independence. There are four bedrooms in total across the mezzanine and first floor, with a mix of double and twin configurations.
Two of the first-floor rooms are arranged as suites, each pairing a double bedroom with a twin bedroom and a shared bathroom. A further twin bedroom has its own en-suite, and the mezzanine holds a double with a private bathroom featuring both bath and separate shower. Air conditioning runs throughout the bedrooms, and mosquito nets are fitted. Wi-Fi covers the property, and a baby bed is available on request, which is a practical touch for families travelling with young children.
Outside is where this property really comes into its own. A private swimming pool, 14 by 6 metres, is positioned 150 metres from the villa with its own kitchenette and bathroom poolside. There is a tennis court on the estate and a shaded outdoor dining area beneath a large holm oak, where the estate's English-speaking private chefs can prepare Tuscan meals or host cooking classes. The famous Lucchese villas, the Versilia coast, Florence, Pisa and Siena are all within easy reach.
